The Fender Mustang has been somewhat forgotten over the years. Stratocasters, Telecasters,and Jazzmasters are usually the most talked about and sought after in the Fender world. But i have played some of these new Mustangs and the Squire Mustangs and these are animals that needs to be reckoned with. With the pickup switch up top it makes switching pickups easier at any time. I prefer the maple neck and those i’ve played have had excellent action right from the factory, no need to do any setup these Mustangs play great right out of the box.
